Open Studio Descriptions

Open Studios are just $8 per person/per session. 

Open studios operate as scheduled unless interrupted by a special class or event. Please consult the calendar to verify availability.

Open Studio Benefits:

• Requesting input or suggestions on your artwork
• Exchanging techniques with co-creatives
• You can bring your lunch and share in conversation
• You’ll have access to materials you may not have at home

A Place to Practice
ArtWorks enables artists to establish a habit of painting and creative expression. Whether you are a painter, multi-media artist, sketcher, portraitist or printmaker, you set the focus and we provide a place for you to establish a regular art practice to stay committed to your artistic goals.

We provide easels, tables, drawing benches, still life materials, and even a printing press. We also have a full kitchen so you can bring your lunch and chat with the other artists.

A Place for Progress 
Here at ArtWorks you have space to spread out and create in the company of other friendly and supportive artists. Many of our artists show up weekly to try something new and refine their skills. Our Open Studio community exchanges information about art exhibit and art show opportunities – so you will often find artists working on creating art for a specific show they want to enter. During the summer months, ArtWorks participates in Art Walk Edmonds so that you have an opportunity to show and sell your art. 

The Venue for Play
ArtWorks is the perfect place to play and create. In addition to good-natured artists happy to share their knowledge and resources, we provide complimentary tea and affordable coffee. So, bring your inspired energy and new ideas along with your creative friends and have a play day! There is always space, encouragement and warmth in the ArtWorks studio.
