Drawing Class + Live Model Session
This class explores figure drawing with a focus on gesture, construction, and design.

Sunday Live Model Drawing Session: 10:30 am – 1:30 pm

Drawing Class: $270 (4 sessions), $225 (3 sessions)

Class begins with one hour of drawing instruction combined with a three hour session with a live model. Students enrolled in the class will get one-on-one feedback from the instructor during the live model session as part of their class. Students can enroll in single classes or the block of four sessions. Each week builds skills progressively so it is recommended to enroll in all four classes offered as a block.
Other artists may attend the Live Model Session for the Drawing Studio fee ($18 per session per person) but will not receive any instruction. Attendance is limited to 8 total including enrolled students.

– Kneaded Eraser
– Hard Eraser
– Utility knife
Paper (choose one):
– SMOOTH Newsprint 18 x 24 inch pad, OR
– Sketch (bond) paper 18 x 24 inch pad (Strathmore Sketch pad or Canson are good choices)
Pencil:
– Charcoal Pencils (2B or 4B) – works with either paper choice above
– Wax-based pencils (works with Sketch paper) – suggested: Progresso Woodless Colored Pencils; Faber-Castell Polychromos,Prismacolor Premier
– Graphite (2B or 4B) – works with Sketch paper (avoid newsprint)
