ArtWorks primary goal is to support artists whether it is providing space for open studios, artist meetings, classes to further skills or inspire new directions, or exhibition but we also like to work with our community art partners.  Non-profit arts organizations enrich our communities and provide wonderful learning opportunities through family friendly events.  Coming up, Cascadia Museum has arranged some worthy events that fit the budget and family friendly tick boxes:

How to create objects through 3D printing will be the focus of a free family art/technology workshop at Cascadia Art Museum on Saturday, Sept. 7. The workshop will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is recommended for children, parents, grandparents and friends. Cascadia Art Museum is located at 190 Sunset Ave., Edmonds.  See the art on exhibit in the museum while you’re there!

– Saturday Oct. 12, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Shadow Puppets for Halloween with Mike O’Day

– Saturday Dec. 7 at 11-1, Christmas Cards with Mona Fairbanks
